I was skeptical to buy these when my children asked for them, but it turned out to be a good thing. Now rare milk drinkers will drink an entire glass of milk, then eat their straw.
The straws are fairly thick and long. They are packaged well, and they don't break very easily. They have a crisp, colorful outside with an inner lining of something white and sugary. Drink milk through it (which softens up the straw a bit, but not to the point of soggy) then eat the straw.
My kids love them. I tried them, and I think they actually taste pretty good. The only reason I gave this item 4 stars is because it is full of sugar. I would love it if there was a little less. Still, the benefits of my children drinking a glass of milk outweigh the disadvantages of an occasional sugary snack. Overall, a good, tasty invention.

This is such a great way to buy cereal and this is a way that I can help my mother who lives on a very fixed low income. I can buy her food and have it shipped directly to her home and then she has food and does not have to get out in the cold Colorado weather and bad roads to get to the grocery store to buy her groceries. Admittedly, I had a fever.
And I must say I am a devotee of the Corn Flake (though I only eat Trader Joe's Brand--Kellogg's flakes, though tasty, have too much crap in them).
But Cereal City--the true target of this review--and a place that now has GREAT bearing on my thoughts about this product--was CREEPY.
From the bald lady with two teeth who took our ticket and felt that this gave her liscense to engage us in a too-long conversation, to the Pennywise-looking clown that reeked of smoke--our first two minutes set the tone.
Throw in a weird new-agey film with floating balls of light that became speaking versions of dead historic figures who never got along in life and pick up their arguments right where they left off on the screen.
Add to that a poorly-lit animatronic Snap, Crackle, and Pop who end up either looking like they are rising from the grave or falling in worship at the feet of Tony the Tiger (depending on whether they are coming up or going back down).
Our (hopefully) unique experience involved not being able to find a lady crucial to our scavanger hunt for 45 minutes (did she go in back and take a nap?) I want a shirt that says "I waited 45 minutes to complete the Cereal City scavanger hunt and all I got was this crappy sippy cup."
Sadly there is much, much more...I could go on at length. But I won't.
The main point is that I get the sense that Kellogg's, as a company, is just as creepy as its tourist trap. Avoid both.

When did the rooster on the box get a cartoony face? Whatever happened to that wonderful abstraction? First they ruined Tony the Tiger, now this.
And where did all the high fructose corn syrup come from? Admittedly, it is a flake of corn but that is a nasty ingredient to be skipped at all costs.
It's things like that which drive people to the formerly odd grains like spelt and kamut!

What can I say? It doesn't get anymore basic than corn flakes! The way I see it, Kellogg's has corn flakes and general mills has cheerios. then there's honey nut cherrios and frosted flakes, 2 great cereals originating from 2 classic cereals!

Kellogg's Raisin Bran, 25.5-Ounce Box (Pack of 7) is good eating with plenty of good nutritional elements and plenty of raisins. There are two problems associated with this product:
The price at this site is a little higher than the price in the supermarket.
One cup has 190 calories. Usually people like to select cereals with fewer calories.
I don't suppose it is possible to cut back on the calories with all those raisins in there, but perhaps the manufacturer could cut back on the sugar and lower the calorie count.

This is my husband's and my daughter's favorite cereal. It is just the perfect amount of sweetness. Regular Frosted Flakes is too sweet, regular Corn Flakes aren't sweet enough. These are the answer. I haven't ordered the individual packs before, but I guess it will be good for portion control. That's the only problem with this cereal, it's easy to eat too much of it. I was never allowed to have sugary cereals growing up. So, I was very hesitant to even buy these at first, but they have less sugar in them than Honey Nut Cheerios. I've made my peace with it.

I cannot truly explain in words how much this cereal has weakened my already fragile state of disliking most breakfast cereals. Imagine cutting up bits of cardboard, pouring Elmer's glue over them, and dusting it with a bit of cocoa. Actually, that sounds a bit more appealing than this horrendous, gummy behemoth was. After reading the previous review I felt that something needed to be said... yes, it gets soggy quickly... and that's EXACTLY why I love it. There are people out there, like me, that don't want their cereal to stay crunchy in milk! I know we're few and far between, which means this cereal probably won't be around long... so that's why I'm stocking up! Actually, it gets soggy to a point that the "crunchies" actually taste like chocolate marshmallows! I would pick this up over Cookie Crisp EVERY TIME! Finally, the chocolate milk it leaves behind is delicious and makes for a pleasant grand finale!

you don't get much "cookie" or "crunch" in this cereal, despite it's name - which is quite disappointing. it has a mushy or soggy consistency, kind of like sugar smacks or corn pops after you let them sit in the bowl for a while - this shouldn't happen immediately after you pour the milk on it. chocolate taste is just OK. my advice: stick to Cookie Crisp and pass this one by.

Great tasting. Only 90 calories. Light so it's easy to stash in purse, gym bag, plane carry on etc. I use these when i need a few calories and don't have time/access to nutritional meal. it holds me over til i can get my meal in. Also good if you're needing to satisfy a craving but not wanting to go overboard on dessert. The chocolate are good too. I'm a chocolate lover but i actually prefer these vanilla. Amazon's price is pretty decent even compared w walmart. and w free shipping i can stock up and not have to run to store if i run out.

I tried one of these and thought it was pretty good, but not enough for breakfast for me. I don't eat a lot at one time, but it wasn't that filling. Maybe with a piece of fruit and a drink it could be breakfast. (Honestly, I prefer the chocolate peanut butter bars from South Beach Living--awesome).
Anyway, this vanilla crisp cereal bar is 90 calories, 2g protein, 10% niacin, thiamin, vitamin B6, and riboflavin (again, compare it to the South Beach Living Peanut Butter Chocolate bar). The vanilla crisp bar is tasty, a little sweet but not too bad, and crunchy like a rice krispy bar. It has a drizzle of what tastes like white icing on top. It's a lot better than many of these bars.
If you are eating these as a low-cal snack or to have something in the car to keep your sugar count from blitzing out, then ok, sure. But if you are doing a diet thing, you need to have a satisfying meal experience. If you feel "cheated" out of breakfast, you are likely to go off your diet. Most diet gurus tell you to eat 3 - 6 reasonable and satisfying meals a day. And as someone who lost 59 lbs 1-2 years ago, I agree.
By the way--bars contain wheat, milk, and soy ingredients. (I know some people are allergic to these ingredients.)
