Basically, it's a pretty decent price on a large pack of cereal. It's decently healthy for you, and the flavor is pretty good. I'd like more of a cinnamon sugar taste to these though.

I thought this was a great deal when I purchased this item a few weeks ago. So far, I have opened 2 out of the 5 boxes and more than half of the cereal is crushed and not edible (unless you like it that way). I also bought the chocolate Special K cereal and the same problem so I assume it has to do with the shipping.



It's a shame because the big bite size is rarely on sale like the small bite kind so I jumped on this price. Considering you are only getting half the cereal it turned out to be a bust.

Not a very exciting cereal, but certainly a deal at the offered price if you like big bite-size sugared shredded wheat biscuits (not as attractive a mouthful as the smaller mini-wheats). Add free delivery & it's a real bargain.

Yeah, I know -- cold cereal and milk doesn't always sound too appetizing. But when I'm in a hurry, it works, and this cereal is my favorite. It's low-fat, high fiber, and "Weight Watchers" friendly. I top mine with 2% milk and a handful of dried cranberries. It's filling enough that it holds me comfortably until lunch, which can sometimes be mid-afternoon (I'm a grad student ... )



It makes a great snack all by itself straight out of the box, too.



It has a nice "mouth feel" to it -- I usually let mine soak up the milk so that it gets a little soggy, but it still has a bit of "crunch" to it.



Amazon's price is excellent -- cereal has been rapidly increasing in price in my local grocery store, and a box like this has been running over six dollars.

Frosted mini shredded wheat is our favorite cereal. We have it for breakfast or supper several times a week. We like the flavor. The taste is important for us. We're not children, but we still like this cereal.



The fiber keeps us full and keeps us focused. The calorie count is almost as good as some of the lighter cereals, and we find we eat less by eating something filling.



The endosperm is a source of proteins and carbohydrates, and the carbohydrates give us energy. We rely on the wheat bran to keep us "fiberfied." According to the Kellogg's people, a bowl of this delicious cereal provides almost 25% of a person's fiber daily fiber requirement. We like the wheat germ, which has antioxidants, folate, thiamin, B6, zinc, magnesium, and manganese.



There are two problems. We can buy other brands that are less expensive.

I do not know that Kellogg's is superior to the cheaper brands. This is one kind of cereal that tastes good if I don't buy th pretty box.



The other problem is the sugar coating. When I was a child, my mother used to feed me those big shredded wheat biscuits. I probably added more sugar than I get in the Frosted Mini-Wheats. So that problem is not really a problem when I take an honest look at my eating habits.

One of the best all around cereals I've ever had. I may get bored with eating it and stop for a while, but I always end up coming back for more.

Plus it seems like a good value for the money when amazon has this under its special discounts. Sometimes you can get it cheaper at local stores, so make sure to calculate correctly. Though I rarely see the strawberry version of this product on sale locally, so if you can get the strawberry mini wheats in the amazon specials, I'd go for it.

I've been buying this cereal from Amazon for quite a while now but in the 24 oz. size..4 boxes to the carton. If you're counting pennies this size is the better value. Little more cumbersome to deal with but worth the savings. I love the Subscribe and Save. Don't have to worry about running out or taking the extra time each month to place an order. Amazon takes the work out of shopping for my favorite cereal and saves me a bundle too. By the way, if you've got IBS with constipation this cereal plus Activa once a day REALLY makes a big difference.

I can't believe I'm leaving a review for a cereal, but I love this product. Best cereal on the market. Most cold cereals don't provide that much morning energy, but this cereal gives me enough energy until noon. It has around 45grams of carbs, so plenty of energy with 2% milk.
