I can't figure out why the 4 pack of mini-wheats is listed for $36 - this is about double what it normally sells for.

many drugstores and supermarkets sell this same 18oz cereal 2 for $5
thus buying from amazon for $14.66 (with subscribe and save) is a ripoff
however, the cereal tastes great, is healthy, and is simply delicious!

it is the same item in the resealable bags.. in the stores in the generic area -- our place sells it for 2.00 per bag same size 18 ouncer - in this hard economy --- i am doing cost per ounce over cardboard box and pretty pictures - there is not any taste difference on the 5 different kinds i tried like this one...

I can't believe I'm leaving a review for a cereal, but I love this product. Best cereal on the market. Most cold cereals don't provide that much morning energy, but this cereal gives me enough energy until noon. It has around 45grams of carbs, so plenty of energy with 2% milk.

Yeah, I know -- cold cereal and milk doesn't always sound too appetizing. But when I'm in a hurry, it works, and this cereal is my favorite. It's low-fat, high fiber, and "Weight Watchers" friendly. I top mine with 2% milk and a handful of dried cranberries. It's filling enough that it holds me comfortably until lunch, which can sometimes be mid-afternoon (I'm a grad student ... )
It makes a great snack all by itself straight out of the box, too.
I like it enough that I have it on subscription here at Amazon. Highly recommended ...
