"Kellogg's Raisin Bran"2009-04-30 By joan I now prefer this product to its boxed form. It is portion-controlled, and can be consumed in the bowl provided (i.e., the number of servings it will provide is known in advance, and one can avoid clean-up if desired). I find re-using the bowls useful (freezing left-overs, disposing of messy kitchen wastes unsuitable for discarding in plumbing, etc).
"No Surprise Here!"2008-02-15 By E. Brooks (California) This cereal is great for everyone and the portion is perfect for those who do not know when to say that's enough. It's like a weight watchers meal already portioned for you.
"S.Smith in Oklahoma"2008-02-12 By S.Smith in Oklahoma (Oklahoma) This product was good, but out of 6 cases, 15 bowls were open and we cannot use them, trying to return them.

"A healthy eat, through the day, very neat, the easy way."2007-05-30 By Rex Field (San Antonio, TX United States) This is one of the most marvelous items that I've purchased to date from the "Grocery" section of Amazon. These containers, which I think of as "motel morning" portions, are extremely convenient and quite delicious, presuming one is a Raisin Bran fan. Likewise, no matter how long the food stays in storage, my cabinets, or in the crate sitting in this cluttered abode's back room, I note that the little, light plastic, sealed containers never seem to let the bran or raisins go stale or lose their taste. I'm now working on my third crate of these little wonders. I suspect that most readers would skeptically snicker at this reviewer's infatuation with such a mundane product, but one should always take matters involving quenching of the munchies seriously, especially at an advancing age when the ol' love-beaten, soul-searching heart needn't be weighed down with the added burdens of fat, cholesterol, salt, sugars and other modern processed sludge.

"Raisin Bran in Small Bundles: A FRESH TREAT"2008-10-06 By Jo-Ann Hague (Dayton, Ohio) I was hesitant about buying 70 (yikes!) small boxes of RAISIN BRAN because I really don't have the space for storing them. However, I couldn't resist the AMAZON lure (thanks, AMAZON, for the shopping ease that feeds my addiction to online purchasing!). Why, for pity's sake, would I buy itty-bitty boxes when I could get a couple of BIG boxes?
Well, here's the reason: FRESHNESS. The raisins are succulent, and the flakes are crisp. Raisin Bran has never tasted so good.
If you struggle to get through a box of cereal before it starts to go stale, then try these little boxes of FRESH TASTE.
I warn you, though... 70 little boxes take up a lot of space.
And... if you're into recycling, then the over-packaging is an issue. Sorry about that. The up-side, though, is that you won't be throwing away stale cereal anymore.
"Heart-healthy food! I like it!"2006-07-30 By Betty L. Dravis (Silicon Valley, CA) My doctor ordered me to eat heart-healthy food, saying that raisin bran is one of the best for bulk count. He said it's a good idea to not only eat it for breakfast, but to also eat a small bowl before dinner, especially for those over the age of fifty who might tend towards constipation. It sure beats the "prunes" of my mother's day!
I have always liked raisin bran, and this packet of 70 individual boxes will last me a little over a month ... if I follow my doctor's advice.
I also enjoy the convenience of Amazon's new store for staple groceries. The only drawback I see is finding the extra storage space if I order everything to last a month.

"I love this stuff!"2009-04-28 By Stephen Cunningham (Mauritius) These are nice big jumbo boxes of scrumdittleyumptious Kellogg's Raisin Bran. Excellent for breakfast and for making bran muffins too!
"yum"2008-12-10 By Headless (Maryland) I love Kellogg's Raisin Bran and now there are no more sugar-coated raisins...so, it's even healthier...at this price, you cannot beat it....Amazon does it again!
"Mixed Review"2008-05-24 By 'MaryLou Cheatham (Louisiana) Kellogg's Raisin Bran, 25.5-Ounce Box (Pack of 7) is good eating with plenty of good nutritional elements and plenty of raisins. There are two problems associated with this product:
The price at this site is a little higher than the price in the supermarket.
One cup has 190 calories. Usually people like to select cereals with fewer calories.
I don't suppose it is possible to cut back on the calories with all those raisins in there, but perhaps the manufacturer could cut back on the sugar and lower the calorie count.
"Great Product Poor Price"2008-01-24 By WorldWideBrad (Las Vegas, NV USA) Kellogg's Rasin Bran is very tasty but who in thier right mind would pay practically $5.00 a box for it? This is commonly on sale for $2.50 a box in the grocery stores.

"Cerebral Edema"2009-07-07 By J Sadik (California) Raisin Bran Crunch is so awesome, that every time I eat it, I feel like my brain is going to explode!!!!
"Good enough for daily use!"2008-11-29 By Joshua M. Stearns (Arlington, VA) It's tremendously self-descriptive. Crunchy raisin bran. I eat this stuff almost every day and have for some months using the auto delivery feature here at Amazon. It's filling, it's yummy and between the crunches, the raisins and the flakes, you've got good variety to keep your mouth happy.
"Delicious cereal, horrible price"2008-11-13 By A. Blasingame I love this cereal. Essentially, if you like Raisin Bran but don't always love the fact that it surrenders to milk easily then this is your solution. The honey in the granola clusters makes it especially great.
What I have a problem with here is the price. Amazon has this listed at $20.29 for 4 boxes. That works out to just over $5 per box ($5.07 exactly). Considering that I can go to Wal Mart and get the 25 oz. box for about $3.50 or even go to the one of the more expensive grocery stores in the area and pay $4.20 for these 18 oz. boxes, that seems like a horrible deal. After all, you would hope that since you're buying in bulk here that you'd get some kind of discount. Or at the very least I think it's reasonable to expect that you wouldn't be charged a premium for the privilege of buying 4 boxes at once.
Delicious cereal, but not worth more than $5 per box as it is listed currently.
"cereal"2008-06-14 By Kevin Corwin Love this cereal for years. Now I order it for my wife who also loves it!
"Yumm!"2007-12-23 By J. Lockard The granola clusters add just the touch of sweetness needed in this cereal - balancing the chewy raisins. I eat it every morning.
