"all right by me--with a minor cautionary note or two" 2007-08-27
By Matthew G. Sherwin (last seen screaming at Amazon customer service)
Kellogg's Corn Pops breakfast cereal in these 1.5 ounce cups boasts a delicious and flavorful taste. It contains no cholesterol, no fat and it is low in calories. The delicious taste and the nutritional value that it does have make this better for you or your kids than skipping breakfast. It is low in carbohydrates, too. It stays crunchy in milk; and I enjoy the strong corn taste. Milk enhances the excellent flavor of the cereal. It is also certified kosher if that's important to you.

Unfortunately, some disappointments exist. The cereal is only average in terms of vitamin content, reaching at the very best 30% of your recommended daily intake of niacin, vitamins B6 and B12, riboflavin, thiamin and folic acid. It delivers somewhat less than average value in the vitamin department. Corn Pops in these 1.5 ounce cups cannot be considered a substitute for a morning vitamin if you need one. Therefore I will take off one star to make this a four star review.

Kellogg's Corn Pops cereal does contain partially hydrogenated vegetable oil and this can convert in your body to trans fat. Be careful!

One more caveat: this product contains traces of soybeans and it is made with wheat. Ask your doctor before eating this cereal if you are unsure if your body can tolerate these ingredients. In addition, consult your doctor about your diet from time to time.

Overall, these 1.5 ounce cups of Kellogg's Corn Pops truly are very useful for people on the go or kids who want an after school snack that's not too bad for them. The cereal does have some basic nutritional value. Nevertheless, Kellogg's Corn Pops cereal cannot be a substitute for a daily vitamin.

 "Mixed Review" 2008-05-24
By 'MaryLou Cheatham (Louisiana)
Kellogg's Raisin Bran, 25.5-Ounce Box (Pack of 7) is good eating with plenty of good nutritional elements and plenty of raisins. There are two problems associated with this product:

The price at this site is a little higher than the price in the supermarket.

One cup has 190 calories. Usually people like to select cereals with fewer calories.

I don't suppose it is possible to cut back on the calories with all those raisins in there, but perhaps the manufacturer could cut back on the sugar and lower the calorie count.

 "Great Product Poor Price" 2008-01-24
By WorldWideBrad (Las Vegas, NV USA)
Kellogg's Rasin Bran is very tasty but who in thier right mind would pay practically $5.00 a box for it? This is commonly on sale for $2.50 a box in the grocery stores.

"Smorz cereal rocks my world" 2009-08-13
By jaycee
This cereal is in the top five of all time best cereals. However, $18.36 for 4, 10.5oz boxes is a total rip-off. I've never seen these on sale.....yet, and I've written to Kellogs requesting coupons after gushing to them how great this cereal is, but they told me no. I still buy it because it's one of the best, just not as often as I would with a coupon. You can get these from the supermarket for about $3.59 for a 10.5oz box.

"Reminiscent of S'mores, by no means perfect execution" 2009-06-05
By Jennifer (Troy, MI)
I am a S'more addict, so when I saw this cereal, I HAD to get it. And I was excited to say the least.

Until I tasted it.

Don't get me wrong--it's definitely tasty...but it's just not what I wanted it to be. The "graham" pieces are air-puffed pieces that don't really taste much like graham crackers--this cereal would have been MUCH better off with graham pieces à la Golden Grahams (except that's another company so I am sure there was some reason they couldn't). The marshmallow ratio was nice--always my favorite part of a breakfast cereal! And it was okay in milk--but I'll probably just eat it dry from now on.

So, overall, it tasted vaguely of S'mores...but had I been blindfolded, I probably wouldn't have been able to guess what it was. I would still eat it, of course. :) And I do plan to enjoy the rest of my four boxes.

 "Disturbingly Good!" 2009-03-05
By Krembo (NJUSA)
I think it is absolutely outrageous that Kellogg's refuse to market this product properly! It's probably the least known cereal, I have never seen it in a store (other than perhaps Lions in the Baltimore area), and even on their website Kellogg's say I can only get it at nearby Wallmarts. No need to mention that those Wallmarts never have it in stock...

This is the most flavorful cereal ever made! The flavors are amazing, the marshmallows to cereal ratio is perfect, and the chocolate flavor is in the right intensity.

I actually eat this cereal as dessert after dinner!

Only one problem: The packages are too small. And I'm not just saying this because I always want more (and I do), I am saying this objectively: Most cereal boxes average 15 Oz. (or at least offer a 15 oz option other than a smaller one). This cereal comes only in the 10.4 Oz. - that's 30% smaller!!! What a shame...

"How do I love thee, Smorz? Let me count the ways..." 2008-07-19
By Valerie Porter (Atlanta, Ga)
1. Your cocoa dusted marshmallows

2. Your grand graham taste

3. Thine taste of a s'more, but without the fire hazard

4. The lack of apostrophe in thy name

5. Your crunch that endures the early dawn

6. That milk is more delicious after knowing thee

7. Your daring complexity of creamy and crunch

8. Your bold, yet inviting container

9. Every spoonful is a sweet kiss and

10. Ever bite is thy salvation

 "Good Cereal...could've been better" 2008-06-23
By D. Rollo
The cereal is tasty, although, it would've been better if it were actual graham crakers covered in chocolate. It's more a mixed nugget made to look like graham crackers. If it were more like a golden grahams type of cereal, it would be better.
