"Tasty" 2009-05-30
By Mr. Jason Y. Wong (Glendale, CA USA)
As much as I think I like the regular Mini-Wheats, I still find it difficult to finish an entire box of the stuff. However, with this "Strawberry Delight" version, I'm able to eat boxes and boxes of the cereal.
Amazon is able to ship it without destroying it, too. Unlike canned goods, these boxes have arrived in good shape each time I've ordered them. In the last two years, I must have ordered and eaten (or shared with family and friends) about 36 boxes.
Hmm. Now that I think about it, that seems excessive. But DELICIOUS!

"Great Flavor, Great Bargin " 2008-07-20
By Jonathan D. Coffman (Washington DC, USA)
I purchased this 4-pack (which is a LOT of cereal) when it was part of a monthly clearance event. The expiration on the boxes was marked for "August 2008" - I bought them in June... Plenty of time to eat 4 boxes of cereal.
Needless to say, this clearance deal was a steal. They were cheaper than in the grocery, arrived in good condition and super-fast. This is one of the reason why I wish Amazon could figure out how to pack and ship loaves of bread and milk! Then I could get nearly everything on Subscribe and Save and not worry about shopping again!

"Sugar Control" 2008-11-27
By Joan Delahoussaye (New Orleans)
Love the fact that this controls the amount of sugar being used. Most of us tend to over-sugar unsweeten cereals. The good taste of the wheat and the convenient size mkes it a favorite cereal.

"husband is hooked" 2008-09-19
By Jeanette M Vackiner (Cody, Nebraska)
I bought this product for my teenagers, but my husband is hooked! He snacks on two boxes a day at his desk and takes them along on business trips. He doesn't realize that two boxes are half his needed fiber for the day. I'm about to order our third case.

"Great product, but overpriced." 2008-08-27
By Xena45 (WI)
My local grocery store routinely breaks these up and sells them for $.39 each!!! You do the math. This is an awesome product, especially if you're counting calories or on Weight Watchers. But this ain't such a great deal. :( I'd order it right now if the price was in line with my local grocery store.

"Footprint disaster" 2008-07-27
By Curtis Bagley (Dallas)
Love the product, hate the delivery: these are tiny boxes with tiny amounts of product in each box. I was embarrassed at the waste of energy and materials this represents. Buy your cereal in big boxes.

"Love the product hate the size" 2008-01-26
By LA Adams (New York)
I love Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats... they are the perfect breakfast and they hold you through the morning. However I have a bone to pick and will write Kellogg directly. I bought these to assist in a weight loss - I suffer from portion control-itis. For the past few years I buy the large box and make smaller containers of the suggested serving size -- approximately 24 biscuits. If I don't, then whatever bowl I choose, I will fill to the max especially in the morning before coffee. I was introduced to this product through one of the weight loss programs where you order food and it comes in portion controlled containers. So one day I thought if this diet program had it - then it must be offered to the public in single serving size. So here I am - my first big box of Mini Wheats arrived yesterday - 70 individual containers. Well folks - these 70 containers have only what would be considered half a serving - about 12 biscuits per container. It is described by grams on these little boxes. Doesn't that seem weird? If you were going to go through the trouble of making small packages - wouldn't it be at least a single serving size??? So that is my only gripe - the cereal is great and the packaging just pisses me off. So I thought I would share.

"GREAT!!! I love these!" 2009-02-02
By Ella Mentry (Mt. Holly, NC)
I LOVE this cereal...Of course I am a sugar-aholic. I liked the strawberry filled ones too, but they didn't have as strong a strawberry flavor to me. When you eat the frosting topped ones, the milk and strawberry frosting mixes together and it's like eating biscuits dipped in strawberry milk! Yummmmm!

"What are these cereal bits in my candy?" 2008-03-06
By K. Varraso (Boston, MA USA)
When I opened my first box of Strawberry Delight Frosted Mini Wheats this morning, I thought I had bought something other than cereal by mistake. I was expecting something like the usual Frosted mini wheats, with the exception of some pink frosting and perhaps some strawberry flavor.
How wrong I was.
Instead, I got a little square of frosting, colored by a pink not found on this Earth and "scented" the with the strongest chemical candy perfume that I have ever had the misfortune to come across. It hovered over the box like a pink cloud before taking out a mallet and knocking me into a diabetic coma. There were a few twigs of what was supposed to be cereal, but it was abundantly clear that the frosting is the reason for this stuff, and the twigs are merely a crumb being thrown to caring parents, so they will serve this stuff instead of a nutritious meal. Indeed the only nutritional claim on the box is wrong: the box says that one serving contains 25% of a day's allowance of fiber, when the nutritional information clearly says a serving of this stuff has only 20% of a day's allowance of fiber. Which one is it?
I don't think that the fiber question will matter to the other reviewers, with most of them eating the confection out of hand as a snack. Sadly that means they are getting a whole heck of a lot more than the suggested serving of 24 tiny squares of frosting. Happily, that means they'll likely get a whole day's supply of fiber, but they'll also end up with a week's supply of sugar.
Once in a while, I have order food from Amazon that does not suit my taste. This cereal is one of those items. Usually, I donate the unopened packages to the local food pantry and count it as some good coming from my lesson. I can't even do that with these this so-called cereal. In poor homes, the children already consume too many processed foods and simple carbohydrates (sugar, in this case). I am not going to add to the bad eating habits of the next generation.

"Sweet, but good" 2008-02-17
By carolyn (Canal Winchester, OH)
This is just okay for me. I love Mini Wheats but some of these new flavors like this one are just a wee bit over the top. The sweetness probably isn't any moreso than the other sweetened variety, but with the strawberry flavoring, it really heightens that sugar taste and really needs to be taken down quite a bit. It's good, but I'd like it better if they'd just make it less sweet and I know they can because they did it with Special K. Hope you're listening Kellogg's! I recommend them, but for adults, it might be a little much.

"Awesome flavor!" 2008-01-23
By A HaileSelassie
When you open the box the aroma just hits you and your mouth starts watering! And your tastebuds will experience even more pleasure. I have always liked Frosted Mini-Wheats, but there's nothing like this. Once you try it, you'll be hooked like me.
Now, I've tried the other two flavors... Cinnamon and Brown Sugar something or other... neither do Strawberry Delight Justice and actually both are a bit too Cinnamony.

"remember that powerded stuff for your milk...." 2008-01-16
By Carrie Sund
Well when I was little I loved it hated milk but loved strawberry milk. This ceral reminds me of that. I eat them without the milk and my husband loves them. We both love strawberry flavored things. I did not really find the deal that great once a month I can get them a bit cheaper per box.
